Your product will be delivered as a .wav file for the best quality or as an mp3. You can use it on your iPod, mp3 player, add it to your cell phone, play it on your computer, or burn it to CD if you wish. You may request either file.
Notes on File Types
WAV, or Waveform Audio Format, is an uncompressed audio format that’s great to use if you want to get the original recorded material without losing sound quality. WAV files are ideal for shorter sound bites because their uncompressed form means they’re large files. The audio in these files is crisp, and the sound is good over Bluetooth.
MP3, or Moving Picture Experts Group Layer-3 Audio, is one of the most popular audio codecs. MP3 files use lossy compression, which compacts audio drastically. In some cases, MP3 files can be 10 times smaller than WAV files. This compression method is versatile and works on nearly all playback devices.
Although MP3s save space, the bit rate at which they’re recorded affects the sound quality. For example, MP3s encoded at 128kbps don’t sound as great as those encoded at 320kbps, but listeners need to determine whether they prefer sound over storage.
All recordings are cleaned, edited for mistakes, compressed, and equalized.
The price can vary per project, depending on what you desire the recording to be. Therefore I charge an hourly rate of $30.
You will get an “Estimate” before the project has begun. I try to make my estimates “high” rather than low so that additional surprises won’t occur to the price. Typically it ends up being less. I am fair and ethical in my business. I am looking to build clients not cheat them.
If you want a long roleplay with me doing different voices and sound effects it could take up 6 hours of my time to just record plus editing time. Please consider your project carefully before you present it to me.
If you have a short project that I can complete in 30 minutes you will only be charged for that amount of my time. A simple short narrated erotic story is often only $15.
